weird science question about what happened to my ice when i poured soda in it?

so i poured it in and this like soda soft layer was around my ice? do you know what im talking about???? like it was like snowy surface formed around my ice? lol why did this happen???

You probably fractured the crystal surface – or it was a bit porous and the soda’s dissolved CO2 pushed itself into the openings.

In either case, the light passing through the ice was bent all around – literally in every direction – giving it a white “fuzzy” appearance. (At least until the ice melts a bit)
