Take the density of gold and calculate the weight of 2 cubic meters.
Next subtract the buoyancy of the displaced water which is 1 gram per cc.

The result is the amount of force required to lift the chest from the bottom to the surface of the water. As soon as the chest starts to emerge from the water, there is a reduction of the buoyancy effect of the water. Then the force required is the total weight of the gold.
